Description: MYTHICAL is a tall, elegant mare. In her previous life as a competition horse she competed to Second Level Dressage and had been in training with Olympic rider Tom Dvorak. She has good basic gaits and an easy temperament. Due to soundness problems Mythical should not be ridden strenuously, but is still sound enough to do some light riding.
Mythical’s 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 & 2009 fillies, Dark Velvet, Desiree, Deja Vu, Delilah & Destat are all spectacular movers. Their sire is Don Rico. Mythical has again been re-bred to DON RICO (Don Frederico/Hohenstein), and is due to foal in 2010.
The cross between Mythical and DON RICO has been magical. It has produced (so far) 4 very similar fillies. DARK VELVET (2005), DESIREE (2006), DEJA VU (2007), DELILAH (2008), DESTAT (2009). To describe one, is to describe them all..
All 5 sisters are the biggest foals of the year and most importantly move like a dream. The first 3 are black and Delilah & Destat a very dark bays. Every dressage rider wishes for such a horse. A good walk and canter, and a powerful, rhythmical, elevated trot - what more could you want? A coach said of Dark Velvet "that filly has Grand Prix stamped all over her".
Mythical is offered for sale in foal for a 2010 foal.
