DARK VELVET is spectacular! As well as her sire's size and colour, Velvet has inherited DON RICO's powerful movement - 3 good gaits with an outstanding trot. She is athletic yet light on her feet: an awesome dressage prospect.

NOVEMBER 2008: Velvet is now going under saddle. She is trusting and clam, and has been well-loved. Her training is right on target for her age: she willingly goes walk, trot and canter with no issues.

2009: Velvet has found a new partner - Danika Guertin-Pierson

IMPRESSIVE SHOW RECORD SINCE 2010-SCORES UP TO 8.5 FOR GAITS, 8's FOR IMPLUSION AND CONSISTENTLY RECEIVES 7's and 8's FOR HER WALK

2010: Competes and is champion at several shows. No scores below 65% - Centaur, Blainville, Saugerties
At her first show ever she was Training Level CHAMPION.
In her first year of showing in 2010 she was part of the Reserve Champion Team (OUT OF 59 TEAMS!!)at Lendon Gray's Youth dressage Festival where she received TRAINING LEVEL HIGH SCORE and CHAMPION OF HER DIVISION

2011-Competed at White Fences in FLORIDA.

2012-SHOWN FIRST LEVEL AT PALGRAVE & RECEIVED HIGH SCORE OF DAY WITH 75.54%

2014 - Second Level Open Champion at the Ottawa Dressage Festival

Ontario CHAMPION at Second Level

Second in Canada for CADORA-National Year-end Awards at Second Level
